Verify a photo
Every Project Cam photo stores its SHA-256 digital fingerprint. If the image is edited, even by one pixel, the fingerprint changes. Here you can compute a file's fingerprint and compare it with the one shown in the app (photo detail) or in the integrity certificate.
The photo is not uploaded anywhere: the fingerprint is computed in your browser.
Verify the original file exported by Project Cam. Photos sent through WhatsApp or other apps are recompressed and their fingerprint no longer matches, even if the image looks the same.
